Kanak Ghati

We had family picnics in the Kanak Ghati growing up, we even came here once for a school picnic. I just love the colour palette of the place, so warm yet cool at the same time. Filled with perfect balance of intricacies and emptiness, spread across the doors, parapet and the flooring. The whole composition is crowned by the Chatri at the top, teamed up with the tree saying hello from the side.

The lush green trees and the grass spread across adds to the life of the place. I had started out my series of paintings with more architecture, which slowly grew into architecture blending with nature and life.
